Challenge: Design a methane venting system for a very complex substructure with numerous subterranean undulations for backdrop storage, orchestra pit, green rooms, power distribution and the ubiquitous theatre tunnel.

Resolution: Terra-Petra designed a methane venting matrix that intersected each of the several, divergent foundation elements, making one continuous venting system.  This not only provided a code compliant methane mitigation system but it limited the total number of vertical risers through the structure to the roof, providing a significant cost savings to the owner.
