| Fernando Monay
Project Designer
Fernando Monay has been a Project Designer with Terra-Petra for th years and has five years of CADD and design related experience. He designed much of the Metro Eastside Golden Extension electrical equipment layout and is expert in different CAD programs including Inventor, Microstation, Revit, Autocad Architecture, and Solid Works. He took CAD courses at Rio Hondo College and in 2008, he received an Associate Degree in Architecture and Design and a certificate in Drafting and Design. Prior to his work with Terra-Petra, Fernando worked with an Electrical Engineering contracting company, Steiny and Company. He designed electrical equipment setup and revised thousands of electrical lines in CADD and hard copy. He is certified to inspect many of the different methane and waterproofing membranes, is well versed in design and construction codes, received the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Hazwoper) training, and is cross-trained in purchasing material and managing it on-site.
